Lloyd Gomm, Vice President of Business Development at Delta-Q Technologies, a ZAPI GROUP company, says there is an ongoing shift toward bringing together electrification and automation. The electric drive world is moving more and more toward robotics and other automated applications such as AGVs (automated guided vehicles), he says, which will bring about many opportunities.
Major changes are taking place in industrial markets, of which electrification and automation are a part, brought about by increases in e-commerce, efforts to improve sustainability and other factors. As such, there will be many growth opportunities for manufacturers working in this space. Just in the past year ZAPI GROUP has seen investments by customers in electrification accelerate, and expects they will continue in the years to come.
