NEN cylinders have a magnetic piston for position sensing, adjustable cushions, low-friction nitrile seals, PTFE wear band on the piston, and sleeve-nut construction with NFPA MS4 bottom-tapped mounting. They come in 1¹⁄₂, 2, 2¹⁄₂, 3¹⁄₄, and 4 in. bores for operating pressures from 7 to 140 psi. They operate in temperatures from –25° to 140° F or 0° to 400° F with optional Viton seals.
