Motion Industries to Open Pacific Northwest Distribution Center

The company is opening a DC in Washington State later this year.

Motion Industries, Inc., distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, will open a distribution center (DC) in Auburn, Wash., in late spring this year. The DC will serve 24 area branch locations daily, as well as the entire Motion Industries North American footprint (500+ locations) as needed. The 62,000 sq. ft. DC will stock and ship a broad range of industrial parts and supplies including bearings, power transmission products, fluid power components, electrical parts, and safety supplies. It will complement Motion’s existing, primary North American distribution centers in Birmingham, Ala.; Tracy, Calif.; Chicago; Baltimore; Dallas; Edmonton, Alta.; and Lachine, Que.
