BIB-150P handheld ultraviolet inspection lamp features a 150-W bulb for pinpointing industrial leaks, including hydraulic fluids. Fluorescent dye added to system will escape wherever a leak is present. When scanned with lamp, dye will glow brightly at leakage area. It can be supplied with a concentrated spot bulb for an intense UV beam that produces a nominal steady-state 365-nm intensity of 4,500 ∝W/cm2 at 15 in. or for wider-area coverage, broad-beam spot bulb produces an intensity of 4,000 ∝W/cm2 at 15 in.
