New Italian fluid power show announced

June 8, 2012

Deutsche Messe and Fiera Milano have expanded their partnership to launch TPA Italia, a professional exhibition dedicated to hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission and drive technologies. The show will make its debut in May 2014 at Fiera Milano (Rho).

The two trade fair companies have been partners since 2008 in the HM Global joint venture for markets outside Europe. This is the first time they have partnered in Europe. The event will bring together the expertise acquired by Hannover with MDA, the biennial motion, drive and automation show held as part of Hannover Messe, and the experience from Fiera Milano with Fluidtrans Compomac and Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control.

TPA Italia will feature a completely new format and take place every two years.

“Italy has some of the leading producers of fluid and mechanical power transmission components and systems in the world,” explains Fiera Milano CEO Enrico Pazzali. “TPA Italia will be a trade fair that meets their need for development, a highly effective platform for networking and business, for ongoing technological updating and innovation.

“TPA Italia also means a great deal to Fiera Milano as it represents another major step along the path of internationalization and the natural evolution of Fluidtrans Compomac and Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control,” Pazzali concluded.

TPA Italia is endorsed and supported by Italian trade associations ASSOFLUID and ASSIOT.
