A new job board from the Industrial Careers Pathway (ICP) — ICP Job Board — allows employers to search for candidates for free. ICP is an initiative of the Industrial Supply Association Foundation, NAHAD-The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution, and PTDA Foundation.

Job seekers can post their resumes, and employers who register with the ICP Job Board can search posted resumes in the resume bank for free, even without placing a help wanted ad, said Mary Jawgiel, the ICP program director for Industrial Careers Pathway. “There is absolutely no cost involved to look at posted resumes,” she said.

If employers find a candidate they are interested in, they simply have to pay a $35 fee to be given that individual's contact details. If the candidate is not interested in the employers' job offers, the employer is not required to pay the fee.

The resume bank contains thousands of resumes available for employers to explore by location or through keyword searches. In addition, employers can post specific jobs to the Job Board designating “industrial distribution” as a field of work.

The new ICP Job Board is located at jobs.idcareers.org and is also available through the Jobs tab at the ICP website, www.industrialcareerspathway.org. Any company can post help wanted ads on the ICP Job Board to gain awareness and recognition for their industrial distribution job openings. Alliance partner member companies can also gain discount codes to make their job postings even more affordable by calling their respective association office or contacting ICP at (312) 516-2100.
