Spectronics Names New VP of Manufacturing

Spectronics Corp., Westbury, N.Y., recently promoted Limin Chen to vice president for manufacturing and special projects and Daniel Chusid to technical sales and regulatory compliance specialist.
Limin Chen

, Westbury, N.Y., recently promoted Limin Chen to Vice President for Manufacturing and Special Projects. As Vice President, Chen will direct the manufacturing/engineering team to establish procedures and required documentation for the entire manufacturing process. Chen will also guide the plant engineering team in the maintenance of the manufacturing facility.

Chen started at Spectronics in 1993 as a Mechanical Product Development Engineer after holding the position of Product Development Engineer at Shanghai General Machinery Corp. for eight years. Chen holds an Associate’s degree in manufacturing, a Master’s degree in business administration, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Daniel Chusid

With more than 10 years of experience as the lead engineer for three companies, Chen will be qualified to head the team in producing the company’s cutting-edge products.

Spectronics also announced the promotion of Daniel Chusid to Technical Sales and  Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Chusid joined Spectronics eight years ago and most recently served as Technical Sales Specialist.

In his new role, Chusid will be responsible for maintaining legal and regulatory compliance for the company and also providing direction to affected business areas regarding changes in operation required for compliance. He has expertise with current standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
