Eaton Corp., Eden Prairie, Minn., has announced that Tom Blansett, manager of Eaton's Hydraulics Training Services, has been elected first vice president on the 2013 Board of Directors for the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS). Blansett joins Eaton’s Ken Dulinski, Eaton's senior training instructor, who is a director-at-large on the IFPS board, marking Eaton’s first dual board representation.

Blansett previously served on the IFPS board as vice president of finance, treasurer and board member. He is actively involved in numerous IFPS committees, including his current role as chair for the Strategic Planning Committee.

“Tom has been an outstanding leader on the IFPS Board of Directors since 2008,” said Donna Pollander, IFPS executive director, “and Ken brings exceptional skills and technical expertise to our organization. We are very excited to have these two very talented professionals on our board.”
