Brennan Acquires Specialty Fitting Manufacturer

Aug. 5, 2019
Brennan Industries Inc., Cleveland, announced the acquisition of Miric Engineering.

Brennan Industries Inc., Cleveland, announced the acquisition of Miric Engineering, a manufacturer of standard and special fittings and adapters for a wide variety of OEMs and end users. Brennan offers more than 50,000 standard and special types of hydraulic fittings, adapters, and O-rings in sizes ranging from 1/16 to 3 in. worldwide. The acquisition expands Brennan’s global footprint to five manufacturing centers worldwide in offering flare JIC adapters with O-rings, a proprietary range of thrust-wire BSP adapters, and JIC, ORFS, BSP and special configurations made of stainless steel, brass, and aluminum alloys.

Miric Engineering was founded in 1991 to serve a niche in hydraulic fittings. Miric’s advanced manufacturing center includes chucking machines for forgings, bar-fed machines, and a complete lights-out machining cell with state-of-the-art Miyano CNC machines for 24-hr unmanned production.

“Miric’s advanced manufacturing capabilities will significantly improve our offering to customers in the UK and Europe,” says Dave Carr, President of Brennan Industries. “As our company grows globally, the ability to carefully control all aspects of manufacturing and quality is critical.”
