ICUEE 2013: Take tomorrow for a test drive

Sept. 12, 2013
The 2013 version of International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, better known as ICUEE, will descend upon Louisville, Ky., October 1 to 3, offering a multifaceted experience for those involved in it’s electric, gas, water, sewer, telecommunications, and construction.

The 2013 version of International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, better known as ICUEE, will descend upon the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, October 1 to 3, offering a multifaceted experience for those involved in it’s electric, gas, water, sewer, telecommunications, and construction. Attendees from across the construction and utility landscape can learn about new technologies, innovations, insights, and trends that will impact their particular industry.

An expected 16,000+ attendees at “The Demo Expo” can meet and greet with more than 800 exhibitors. A new feature of the show, sponsored by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), is an indoor Exhibitor Demo Stage, which further expands the outdoor equipment demonstration area.

Because machinery is exhibited in joblike conditions, attendees can test drive the equipment — at ground level, underground, and overhead. Some of the featured equipment includes all-terrain carriers, attachments, components, earthmoving, overhead and maintenance, trenching and trenchless, trucks, and others.

A Learning Experience

On the educational side, ICUEE 2013 boasts a record 10 industry organizations that will colocate events and education sessions. Making its debut at the show will be the Fluid Power Conference, produced and managed by Hydraulics & Pneumatics. The half-day event will be held from 8:00 to 12:15 on Thursday, October 3. Session topics include

  • Bucket Truck Hydraulic Components and Circuits:
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Drifting and Locked-Up Outrigger Systems
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Drifting Boom and Bucket Problems

After the final session, attendees will be invited on a booth tour to examine equipment on display and learn firsthand about concepts learned in the lectures. Cost for the seminar series is $195, but registration will be discounted to only $150 by entering Promo Code FPC150 while registering.
