Series 7000 proximity sensors detect piston position on 2- to 8-in. bore tie rod cylinders. Selfadjusting clamp grips standard NFPA and custom cylinders. Range of custom circuits includes 1- or 4-A reed switches; NO, NC, or SPDT switch types; reed or electronic sensing elements; and 120 Vac Hall sensor. They allow for use of one switch for a majority of voltages and cylinder sizes, are compatible with intrinsically safe barriers, and operate in a temperatures from –20° to 80°C.
