EZTorque mechanical caliper parking brake delivers strong holding power with little operator effort. It is available in two sizes — commercial grade with doublebacking-plate and smaller consumer version. It delivers 80% mechanical efficiency and high torque with low input force. Ball ramp actuation and small-radius washer transfers torque. Custom-designed lining with high static coefficient creates more friction at a given input force with no directional sensitivity.
