The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is offering its first trade mission to Cuba for AEM member companies and other trip participants. The trade mission will take place April 3-6, 2017, and will provide opportunities to learn how to conduct business with Cuban companies and equipment manufacturers.
During the trip, participants will be able to identify market opportunities for products and services in Cuba, while establishing key contacts with Cuban ministries and companies involved in importation, procurement, and distribution. They will learn about commercial and political hurdles for conducting business in Cuba, and gain an understanding of financial transaction and regulations. The tour will include onsite visits and workshops to learn how to craft business proposals unique to the Cuban market.
Group size will be limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more on the AEM website. To determine if your U.S. product can be exported into Cuba, or to obtain an application for a license to export, contact the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security at (202) 482-4252.
