The Optimax 400 violet-light LED leak-detection flashlight emits little visible light, which makes industrial fluid leaks easy to spot. The device features a high-output LED that causes fluorescent dyes to glow brightly and with higher contrast. A prefocused beam optimizes fluorescent response without any adjustments. With power comparable to high-intensity 150-W lamps, it works well with the company’s Spectroline Oil-Glo oil-based dyes and Water-Glo water dye.

The flashlight features “instant-on” operation, is cordless, has a corrosion-resistant, anodized lamp body, operates on AAA batteries, and has an LED with a 100,000-hr service life.
