Power Unit Optimizes Speed, Achieves Excellent Power Efficiency

When it comes to efficiency, the CytroPac power unit packs a punch, offering space-saving capabilities in a sleek design, and real-time monitoring and speed control through a multi-Ethernet interface. The 20-liter power unit integrates controls and a cooling system, and includes the pump, motor and other hydraulic components in a single housing. It has a power range that reaches up to 4 kW, and achieves flows up to 35 l/min. Correct degassing of oil prolongs fluid service life. 

The frequency converter automatically controls speed in response to the demands of the system. This function reduces energy consumption by up to 80% compared to most power units. The integrated heat-pipe technology uses water as the coolant to keep oil cool. In addition, the IP54 housing provides noise insulation that complies with international and automotive noise regulations.

The decentralized, intelligent power unit meets expectations set by Industry 4.0. Sensors record and send data for pressure, temperature, oil level, clogging, and flow for constant monitoring through a Multi-Ethernet interface. The frequency converter communicates over real-time Sercos, PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and PROFIBUS. The unit requires only four connections to the power supply, the communication network, the hydraulic circuit, and the cooling-water circuit.
