EZ Ladder Toolkit and P-Series PLC on a Chip-based controllers now feature integrated J1939/NMEA2000 connectivity and SD card data logging. As a result, customizable J1939 and NMEA2000 messages, Parameter Group Numbers (PGNs), and Suspect Parameter Numbers (SPNs), make the devices suitable with Tier IV diesel engines or marine equipment. In addition to a user-selectable bit-rate, address claim functionality is now fully supported with a user-defined name field. Standard function blocks allow users to easily map specific SPN values to program variables. Data is easily logged to an SD card in either binary or ASCII format.
