On October 3rd Manufacturers across America will open their doors to the public in recognition of Manufacturing Day.

Manufacturing Day is dedicated to the manufacturing industry in North America. Manufacturers offer students, teachers, parents, job seekers and local community members to come out to their facilities.
Participating manufacturers will provide facility tours, Q&A sessions, and discuss career opportunities. This day allows manufacturers to educate the local community on the manufacturing industry and the effect it has on the economy.

Last year’s MFG Day had 35,000 guests, and 834 participating manufacturers. This year the goal is for 50,000 guests, and 1500 events.

Shell Lubricants is MFG Day’s platinum sponsor. Look for the MFG Day logo on top of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion driven at the Sprint Cup race in Chicago.
