More than 142,000 people — a record — registered for this year's CONEXPO/ CON-AGG/IFPE shows, an amazing number! This year’s production was also the largest in the show’s history, with nearly 400 exhibitors. Industry professionals all agree that IFPE is the most important international exposition and technical conference dedicated to power transmission and motion control technologies.
Attendees were practically able to tour the world, as more than 90 U.S., Canadian, and worldwide trade associations, and small and big businesses supported the shows. Joining U.S.-based groups were international industry-related organizations from Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Finland, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.
IFPE is geared to engineers and others involved in the design and manufacturing process in a variety of industry segments, including off-road equipment, fluid power/power transmission products, electrical machinery, instruments/controls, distribution, material handling, manufacturing/production automation/machine tools, automotive/commercial vehicles, engineering services, defense/aerospace and amusement/entertainment technology.
In total, the shows hosted more than 300 meetings of associations and companies, adding to the mix of industry professionals from around the world attending to exchange information and ideas and find solutions to their business challenges.
