IIMTS and MinExpo hit the show circuit

September will see two of the industry's largest shows, as IMTS 2008 - International Manufacturing Technology Show, and MINExpo "The World’s Richest Deposit of Mining Technology, Services & Products," are slated to open their doors. IMTS, sponsored by AMT-The Association For Manufacturing Technology will be held September 8-13, at McCormick Place, in Chicago. MINExpo, sponsored by the National Mining Association, is set for September 22-24, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

In 2006, IMTS brought together more than 91,000 visitors from over 119 nations. To date, IMTS has more than 1500 exhibitors from all over the world, and expects to see more machines, an increased level of technology, and increased attendance.

IMTS will feature an all-new Innovation Center, highlighting a relevant theme brought to life through thought-provoking presentations by industry experts each day during the six-days of the show. MINExpo is already 22 percent larger than the last event. A record number of new products, technologies, and services will be introduced at the show. Twenty education sessions will tackle the most current and significant challenges facing the industry.

The event also promises a few fun activities, with special tours and excursions included. H&P's July and August issues will be distributed at both of these shows, so will receive extra coverage and readership. See our media kit for advertising information.
