A custom manifold block (CMB) provides safety and improves brake performance in agricultural trailer applications. Standard cartridge valves make up the CMB configuration, which includes accumulators, filter, and pressure switches; solenoid poppet valves, normally open and normally closed, and rated to 200 lpm at 350 bar; and nonreturn valves with minimal leakage <5 drops/min rated to 150 lpm at up to 420 bar. The CMB can be made from zinc-plated steel; aluminum, anodized for corrosion protection and suitable for applications <210 bar; or cast-iron for pressures to 420 bar.
