Dual seal flange adapters improve the reliability and safety of high-vibration, high-shock hydraulic four-bolt connections in critical subsea oil and gas applications. They are an alternative to traditional SAE Code 62 flanges. They are available in standard Code 62 footprint sizes (-8), 1 (-16) and 1 in. (-24), and incorporate both radial and face sealing for improved port retention and increased sealing capacity. This helps reduce the potential for system leakage and air/water ingression caused by side loading of conventional flange face seal connections. They have been tested to 7500 psi with a 4:1 design factor.
