Refrigerated extractor dryers provide reduced dewpoint temperatures and air line filtration in one unit for compressed air applications. Cold coalescing continuously removes condensed liquids, and refrigeration cools air to condense aerosols into liquid. They filter solid particles down to 5 μm. Clean dry air is reheated to a useable temperature prior to exiting the device, resulting in compressed air that is clean and dried to eliminate any condensation downstream.
